Today I look at restorative dentistry from four connected perspectives: as a practising clinician, researcher, university teacher and through my experience within the dental industry.
My industrial experience added an important understanding of how dental materials, research, professional education and clinical application interact. Combined with my academic and clinical work, this allows me to examine a problem from more than one direction.
In advisory projects, I therefore focus on the interface between scientific evidence, material properties, clinical needs, market insights, education and practical implementation.
I work with universities, scientific organisations, manufacturers and appropriate professional partners on questions where clinical-scientific interpretation can add value.
Commercial collaborations are kept transparent and clearly distinguished from my independent academic and scientific activities.
